BEETHOVEN 1827 - The Awakening of Genius
This concert brings together two youthful works: Beethoven’s Piano Trio Op. 1 No. 1, composed at the age of 25, and Brahms’ Piano Trio Op. 8, written when he was just 20.
Despite their young age, both composers already display a powerful style, expressive richness, and remarkable command of musical form.
In Beethoven, we hear the drive and innovation that would define his entire body of work. In Brahms, the depth and musical density already signal the great heir of German Romanticism.
Two first steps… in the footsteps of a giant.
